Earn Required Controlled Substance Training for License Renewal

All South Carolina physicians must fulfill a minimum of two hours of controlled substance training each biennium to renew their medical license. The current biennial period ends June 30, 2027. CMEs offered by the SCMA not only refresh knowledge, but also foster collaboration, innovation and, ultimately, better patient outcomes.

For physicians who are on the go, SCMA offers 24/7 online access to webinars and resources that enable physicians to obtain credits. The following course is available on-demand and satisfies the controlled substance training requirement.
